Renewing your car insurance is a five-minute job if you know what to check. Here's my quick checklist for Jaipur drivers.
Don't let it lapse
Renew before the expiry date. A lapsed policy means a fresh inspection and, worse, driving uninsured is illegal and risky. Set a reminder a couple of weeks ahead.
Set the IDV correctly
IDV is your car's current market value and the most a total-loss claim can pay. Setting it too low to save premium means you're underpaid if the car is written off.
Protect your no-claim bonus
Claim-free years earn a discount that can reach 50%. For a small scratch, it's often cheaper to pay out of pocket and keep the bonus. I help you do the math.
Consider zero-depreciation
For newer cars, a zero-depreciation add-on means parts are covered at full value at claim time. It's usually worth it for the first five years.
Send me your existing policy on WhatsApp and I'll get you renewal options — often the same day.
